Three weeks ago we celebrated the wedding of precious Lauren and her beau Lee. We had such fun photographing the crazy bunch and have put together a collection of photographs that will hopefully last them until all the pics are edited and handed over to them at last. I am as impatient as they are to get these finished up because honestly, we all had the best time. Please feel free to leave a short message to the newly weds below. Welcome to Providence: Venue & Decor A few weeks before the wedding I sent Lauren and Lee a questionnaire that dealt with the build up to their wedding, and why certain decisions were made... They always have a fantastic sense of humour and I might sneak a few titbits in here and there. As for why they used Providence, they said that they really just knew walking into it that it was their perfect wedding venue and it would be the perfect setting for their vintage and earthy styled decor. The decor was hired from both Spotted Owl Decor, and Labola. Flowers were arranged by Lauren's mom-in-law, Beth Thompson. It honestly was the most beautiful setting. When I asked Lauren and Lee what they are most looking forward to on this special day they said that it would have to be celebrating the most important day of their lives with the people who matter most in their lives. Going to the chapel and we're gona get married... then eat some cake As to when they realised they were meant for each other, Lauren's response was: they had been dating for only six months when they decided to move in with each other and it was about a year after living together that she felt she couldn't live without him. Lee's response, somewhat on the lighter side, replied: the week that he proposed! How did Lee propose...? Whilst other plans were at play, the weather wouldn't comply with Lee's agenda and it was on a rainy afternoon where they were all snug and curled up on a couch that Lee simply lent over and asked her out of the blue. Of course, Lauren said YES. As to what they love about each other, Lee loves Lauren's amazing and bubbly personality... In my books I think her laugh is the most contagious I've heard so I would have to agree with Lee. Lauren loves the good advice that Lee always gives her even though she often goes against what he says. Then... the fun we had in the pasture Rowan and I couldn't have asked for a more entertaining crowd, especially the boys who were honestly up for anything. It was such an honour photographing Lauren and Lee's wedding. They have always supported us, almost from the outset, and it means so much to us that we have been able to watch this little relationship blossom... Photographing you as a couple, then an engaged couple and now a married couple has meant the world to us. We sincerely wish you both everything of the utmost best in your beautiful future together as husband and wife! Please feel free to leave Lauren and Lee a message of well wishes and congratulations below.
